Criteria required to apply Konrad Foundation Scholarships in Germany:

The International Student Scholarships Program is aimed at international students and graduates who have obtained an undergraduate degree and who intend to complete postgraduate, master’s, doctoral studies or a research stay of at least three semesters at a university in Germany.

Basic conditions:

Eligible Nationalities: All nationalities from all countries are eligible.

• Hold at least a university degree (BA).
• Proof of above average academic performance.
• Not be more than 30 years old (for Masters).
• Have a good knowledge of the German language (B2 level).
• You must be actively involved in volunteer work in your home country.
• You plan to study for at least three semesters at a university in Germany.
• To have a positive attitude towards democracy and human rights.
• Being open to developing their personal views and practicing tolerance.
• To be very passionate and able to persuade their goals in life.
• Students in medicine or pharmacy can only apply after completing their intermediate examination in Germany.

Documents required for master’s degree:

• A CV about your previous volunteer and social commitment.
• Motivation letter.
• Copies of your exam certificates translated into German if the originals are not in English.
• Copies of your study performance records if you are studying at a university in Germany.
• Proof of German language skills (B2).
• Informal academic recommendation letter.
• Acceptance certificate or high school diploma from your university in Germany.

A detailed description of your doctoral thesis:

• This written description in German or English (4-5 pages).
• Second Academic Recommendation Letter.
• A confirmation of supervision.
