Romanian Government scholarship 2021

Scholarship program in Romania offered by the Romanian state to all countries that are not part of the European Union.

A total of 85 scholarships will be provided for undergraduate, masters and PhD levels. The scholarship is fully funded and will cover all expenses.

Features of Romanian scholarship 2021:

Free tuition fee:

Free accommodation (depending on availability, accommodation will be provided for free in student halls of residence, in accordance with higher education regulations and within the limits of the amounts available for this purpose).

Financial Support – a monthly amount that represents:

• The equivalent of 65 euros per month in Romanian currency for undergraduate (bachelors) students,
• The equivalent of 75 euros per month in Romanian currency for postgraduate students (masters and specialization) for the second session.
• The equivalent of 85 euros per month in Romanian currency for third-session postgraduate students (doctoral degrees).

Duration of the Romanian scholarship award:

• Undergraduate: 3-6 years.
• Masters: 1.5, 2 years.
• Doctorate: 3, 4 years.

Eligibility criteria for applying for the Romanian scholarship:

• Foreign citizens coming from all countries of the world, except for European member states.
• He should not hold Romanian citizenship.
• Not more than 35 years for undergraduate and master’s studies and 45 years respectively for doctoral or postgraduate studies.

The levels of study covered by the Romanian Government scholarship 2021:

This scheme is intended for high school graduates or equivalent pre-university studies, as well as for candidates who need to continue their studies in Romania.

The full course of undergraduate studies lasts from 3 to 6 years, depending on the requirements of the chosen college, and ends with the final examination (BA).

For the second cycle (Master): This program is intended for university / postgraduate graduates.

It lasts for 1.5 to 2 years and ends with a thesis defense.

For the third cycle (PhD) this program is intended for University / Postgraduate graduates (i.e. Master); it lasts for 3-4 years, in line with the specific requirements of the chosen faculty,

• It ends with the doctor’s thesis.
• Admission to the doctoral course is conditional on an entrance examination.

Architecture, Visual Arts, Romanian Culture and Civilization, Journalism, Political and Administrative Sciences, Engineering, Educational Sciences, Social and Human Sciences, Art Studies, Oil and Gas, Agricultural Sciences, Veterinary Medicine. And other academic fields

Remember Scholarships are not awarded in the fields of medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy.

Study language and language certificates:

In order to promote the Romanian language and culture among foreign citizens, it the recipients of scholarships awarded by the Romanian state must study only in the Romanian language.

Candidates who do not know Romanian language are awarded one supplementary preparatory year to study language.
