Government of Finland Scholarships 2021 for Bachelor’s and Master’s studies | Fully Funded
Finland has two types of higher education institutions: universities and universities of applied sciences (UAS), English-taught degree programs are offered on bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels.
Universities of applied sciences offer professionally oriented higher education and have strong ties with working life and regional development.
Doctoral programs are offered by the universities as is one of the fourth programs scholarships offered by Finland government.
About the Government of Finland Scholarship 2021:
- Finnish scholarships are funded by the government of Finland.
- Admission to higher education in Finland is now open.
- The combined application means you can apply for up to 6 programs in one application form for spring 2021, and application is always free.
- All students from all over the world who hold any nationality are entitled to apply to study in Finland for free.

Universities of Applied Sciences:
There are a total of 22 universities of applied sciences. UAS provides study options in several different fields:
- Agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and veterinary medicine.
- Arts.
- Business, Management and Law.
- Education.
- Engineering, manufacturing and construction.
- Health and social care.
- Humanities, social sciences, Journalism and Information
- Information and communication technology.
- Services (hospitality management, logistics, security, sports studies).
Funding provided in the Finland Government Scholarship 2021:
- All universities offer different percentages of the Tuition or Fee Waiver Scholarship + Monthly Salary Grant (Fully Funded).
- You may find some programs on the list of exceptions, limited funding for a certain period, scholarships only, tuition fees, and the ministry may provide a living allowance.
- Check the type of scholarship offered by the university in general and also make sure of the type of scholarship offered by the department you have chosen specifically.

How to apply for the Finland Government Scholarship 2021?
- All stages of applying for a Finland grant are done online through the online application portal on the official website of the grant, where the method and application steps are explained in detail.
- There is no separate application required for the Finland Government Scholarship.
- By default, your scholarship application will be considered when you apply for admission.
- Finland has a central admission system only, all you have to do is make a short list of the programs and universities you want to study in and apply online.
- You do not need to contact any university professor or anyone else, all you have to do is apply and upon acceptance, all procedures are coordinated automatically.
- Applicants need to apply online, fill out the application form and upload documents.
