Applications are now open for the Australian Government Research Scholarship 2024. These RTP scholarships are available to both domestic and international students enrolled in an accredited HDR course. International students from all over the world can apply to pursue their Master’s or PhD degrees in Australia through the AGRTP International Scholarship. This Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) is a fully funded scholarship for the 2024-2025 academic year.
The Scholarships are available for all Academic Fields and Majors to undertake postgraduate degree programs. Australian Government Scholarship is available for Engineering, Computer, Mathematical Sciences, Health Sciences, Arts, Professions, Sciences. The Scholarship will cover all the expenses.
More than 1000 Australia scholarships for international students are available at top Australian universities for academic year 2024-2025. These scholarships provide average monthly stipend of AUD $20,000 along with tuition fees, accommodation charges, health insurance and travel allowance.

Financial Benefits:
The Australian Government Research Scholarship 2024 covers the following:
- Stipend: An annual living allowance of AUD $32,192 (tax-free, 2024 value) for up to 2 years for a Research Master’s degree and up to 3 years for a Research Doctoral degree.
- Full Tuition Fee: For Master’s up to 2 years and PhD up to 4 years.

Eligibility Criteria of the Research Training Program 2024:
The following are the basic eligibility criteria for scholarship in Australia for Masters and PhDs.
Masters by Research / Master of Philosophy:
The following qualifications are usually required for submitting an application for a master’s by research or master’s in philosophy:
- To be considered for this program, applicants must have completed at least the equivalent of an Australian Honours degree.
- You should have equivalent experience and capabilities in research.
Ph.D. Research Program:
You must possess a sufficient amount of research experience to be considered for a Ph.D.
- Students must hold a bachelor’s degree with first or upper second class honors, or a master’s degree with substantial research components that are maintained at a high academic standard.
- RTP Candidates must meet the University’s English language proficiency requirements.
