Funding of Commonwealth Shared Scholarship in the UK:
It is a funded scholarship by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) and various Universities of the UK.
- It covers the complete tuition fee.
- It covers airfare from your home country to the UK.
- It offers a monthly living allowance of £1,116 and £1,369 for those living in metropolitan areas.
- Grant thesis cost £225 to prepare a thesis or dissertation.
- It also provides a travel grant of £200.
- However, it also gives a child allowance of £478 monthly for the first child and £118 monthly for the second child to all the divorced, widowed, and single parents.

Eligibility criteria of Commonwealth Shared Scholarship 2023 in the UK:
Commonwealth Shared Scholarships are for candidates from least developed and lower-middle-income Commonwealth countries, to undertake full-time Master’s study on selected courses at a UK university.
To apply for these scholarships, you must:
- Be a citizen of or have been granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person
- Be permanently resident in an eligible Commonwealth country
- Be available to start your academic studies in the UK by the start of the UK academic year in September 2022
- By September 2022, hold a first degree of at least upper second-class (2:1) honors standard, or a lower second-class degree (2:2) and a relevant postgraduate qualification (usually a Master’s degree).
- Not have studied or worked for one (academic) year or more in a high-income country
- Be unable to afford to study at a UK university without this scholarship
- Have provided all supporting documentation in the required format.

- Make sure to apply separately for the university and for the scholarship.
- The candidates must find the relevant and desired courses from the list given.
- Choose a university from the given list.
- Each university has its own eligibility and requirement. Make sure to fulfill all the UK university requirements and follow the university deadline.
- The university deadline must not be after December 20.
- If any university does not require English Proficient Certificate, then ask the university to nominate you for the scholarship without English language Test via email.
