How many years are the MPP,MIA and the MDS?
The master’s programs are two-year programs, consisting of four academic semesters and one mandatory six-week internship between the first and second year of study.
The Hertie School follows the American academic calendar with the fall semester lasting from the beginning of September to mid-December and the spring semester lasting from the beginning of February to mid-May.
Can I apply to the MPP,MIA and the MDS at the same time?
Yes, you are welcome to apply for all programmers.
Note, however, that you can study in only one of them.
Should you be offered admission to all three programmers, you will have to decide which offer you accept.
You cannot accept more than one offer of admission.
What are the application deadline?
The application period for the master’s programmers is 1 October to 1 May.
Admission and scholarships are allocated on a rolling basis.
Your chances of being offered a scholarship are higher the earlier you apply.
The priority deadline is 1 February.
