You will also be given access to top-class facilities and Developing leadership skills is a challenge for many organizations. Too often, leaders are promoted to management positions without proper preparation. Applications are now being accepted for Swedish Institute’s SI Leader Lab 2024!

SI Leader Lab 2024 will bring together 50 young influential civil society leaders in South Asia, the MENA region and Sweden who are active advocates of gender equality. The overarching objective is to strengthen leaders who are working for gender equality. The program is as much about personal as professional development.

Participants in this year’s program will be drawn from organizations and countries working towards reaching Sustainable Development Goal 16 (just, peaceful, and inclusive societies).

The Sweden Government has initiated an online leadership program for young pioneers. The Swedish Institute online leadership program forum has come to your home with a bundle of attributes. The fully-funded leadership program for youth will be executed under the SI Leader Lab, which had started its operations in 2019 in the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia.

Eligibilities of SI Leader Lab in Sweden 2024:

• Applicants are required to meet the following eligibility requirements.
• Have a leading position (formal or informal) in a civil society organization or network working for gender equality.
• Work in a collaborative setting, where you have a leadership role (formal or informal).
• Are between 22 and 32 years old (born 1987–1998).
• Have a good working knowledge of both written and spoken English.
• Are available to take part in all parts of the program.
• Are prepared to forward competencies and knowledge they gain from the program to their team, organization, or other relevant actors.
• Swedish citizens/residents working in relevant organizations will be able to apply to the program as strategic partners.

• Choose the program you wish to apply for. There will be different two links, one for Eastern Europe and the other for the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia.
• Ensure to answer all the related fields.
• Ensure to upload the supporting documents.
• Complete the application form carefully.
• You will get the confirmation email after the submission of the application.
• You will be required to record the video through the given video link on the email. For this, you will be supposed to answer the two given questions within two minutes of time.

• Select what program you would like to apply for:

• Answer all the questions in the different sections in the application portal (sections in the left-hand menu).
• Upload your CV under the document section.
• When you have submitted your application you will get a confirmation email.
• You will also get an email with a link to record a short video.
• Follow the instructions in the email.
• You will have to record the video within 24 hours after receiving the link.
• It will take less than ten minutes to record the video.
• You will get two questions to answer within two minutes each.
