Sciences Po created the Émile Boutmy scholarship, named after the founder of Sciences Po (1871), in order to welcome the very best international students from outside the European Union.
The Émile Boutmy Scholarship is awarded to top students whose profiles match the admissions priorities of Sciences Po and individual course requirements.

The Émile Boutmy scholarship fund benefits from the generous support of its sponsors (benefactors, companies, and foundations) who are eager to allow the most deserving international students to study at Sciences Po.
Private sponsors can be in direct contact with scholarship holders during officially organized events. They support the Émile Boutmy excellence scholarship: BNP Paribas, Chalhoub Group, RATP Foundation, L’Oreal, and Total.

Scholarships 2022 for Bachelor’s Degree in France
The Emile Boutmy Scholarships 2021 is awarded to students arriving at Sciences Po for their first year of studies.
- A tuition fee of €7,300 per year for the three years of the undergraduate program, in addition to a grant to cover part of the cost of living of €5000 per year.
- A tuition fee of €7,300 per year for the three years of the undergraduate program.
- A tuition fee of €5,000 per year for the three years of the undergraduate program.
- A tuition fee of €3,000 per year for the three years of the undergraduate program.
Scholarships 2023 for Master’s Degree in France
- It covers €10,000 per year to cover tuition funds for the two years of the Master’s degree
- A tuition fee of €5,000 per year for the two years of the Master’s degree.

Important: It is not possible for students to apply for the Émile Boutmy scholarship after their admission to Sciences Po or during their studies at Sciences Po. Students are therefore responsible for finding another source of funding if they have not been awarded the Emily Boutmy scholarship.

Eligibility of Emile Boutmy Scholarships 2023 in France:
- Eligible Countries: All nationalities
- Acceptable Course or Subjects: Undergraduate and postgraduate degree in any subject offered by the institute
- Admissible Criteria: To be considered for this fund, the applicant must have to be from a non-European Union state, whose household does not file taxes within the European Union, and who have been admitted to the Undergraduate or Master’s program.
DEADLINES of Emile Boutmy Scholarships 2023 in France
- Deadline for the undergraduate program (applicants from foreign secondary schools): mid-February 2023.
- Deadline for the undergraduate program (applicants from French secondary schools): mid-June 2023.
- Deadline for the master’s program: November 30, 2023.
- No application requests will be accepted after the deadline.
- You must apply for the Emile Boutmy scholarship directly in your Sciences Po online application. Please note that no application for the scholarship sent by email will be accepted.
