The Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) is looking for candidates for the ICYF Young Volunteers Camp 2024 in Turkey. Fully Funded all Expenses Covered Summer Exchange Program for Young Men and Women to Spend a Week in Antalya, Turkey.

Volunteering is an important, increasingly popular way for young people to make a positive impact on their community. This is one of the most effective and practical steps to involve youth in global peace and sustainable human development.

ICYF Young Volunteers Camp 2024 is an opportunity for young and emerging leaders to learn advanced methods of countering the rising social and humanitarian crises. he ICYF, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Turkey, is hosting the ICYF International Young Volunteers Camp titled “Young Volunteers in Post-Disaster Psychosocial Support” from April 23 to May 5, 2024, in Antalya, Turkey. In this funded volunteer camp in Turkey, the participants acutely learn to act actively in times of natural disasters and humanitarian crises.

The 2024 ICYF International Young Volunteers Camp exemplifies Islamic compassion and social responsibility by uniting volunteers from the OIC region to ensure skill development and foster a collective understanding of volunteerism’s principles.

As the world is undergoing unprecedented change, everyone needs to join forces to work collectively and support each other during these difficult times. This Camp is seeking for an International Young Students from all over the world to work together and support each other during these difficult periods where they are need to stick with each other.

Description of ICYF International Volunteer Camp in Turkey:

  • Targeted Countries: OIC Member Countries, Muslim Communities. 
  • Funding provided: Fully Funded.

  • Develop the knowledge and skills of young volunteers in disaster management using interactive techniques and educational methods.
  • To facilitate youth participation in voluntary global peace and sustainable human development,
  • Capacity building of young volunteers through interactive trainings and hands-on workshops
  • Promote the skills of young volunteers in psychological support with experts during disaster recovery.

Goals of ICYF International Volunteer Camp in Turkey:

The ICYF Youth Volunteer Camps aim to achieve the following specific goals:

  • To empower youth lead organizations on volunteering management. 
  • ​To enhance young volunteers` capacities. 
  • To establish a network among youth organizations.

Eligibility criteria of ICYF International Volunteer Camp in Turkey:

To be able to apply for the ICYF International Volunteer Camp in Turkey 2024 you should meet with the following criteria:

  • Be able to communicate in English. 
  • Age during 18-30. 
  • Past experience in humanitarian and volunteering work. 
  • Be able to work with Teamwork.
  • Media background (study, work experiences). 
  • Engaged in/or coordinated a media-related project. 
  • Being Active in community service and environment development. 
  • A leader who makes big impact inside his community.
