#1 Age specifications:
- Students in the Bachelor’s Program: Bachelor’s program candidates must be 18 years old at the beginning of the course.
- Graduates who are applying for the Master’s Program: applicants to the Master’s program must be 45 years old when they apply.
#2 Nationality:
- Candidates must be citizens from one of the countries on the eligibility list for the Australian Awards
- Do not have to have been an Australian resident or an Australian national
3 Degree specifications:
- Applicants to the Bachelor’s program: must possess at least 12 years of education before applying
- To be eligible for the Master’s program, applicants must possess a minimum of 16 years of previous schooling when applying.
- For Ph.D. Program applicants: need to be at least 17 years of training before the date of application.
- The applications of those applying for a scholarship within the course of study at a level of academic achievement lower than what they have achieved are not considered.
#4 Language Proficiency Exams:-
- Students who wish to apply for Australia Awards Scholarship must present an IELTS band score of 6.5 or more or a comparable TOEFL score. Otherwise, they must pass the PCE test.
5. Other needs:
- The applicant is not to be engaged or married to an Australian citizen or permanent resident between the application processes
- The applicants must not be currently military servicemen
- Candidates who have received Australia Awards Scholarships previously Australia Award Scholarships before are not eligible to apply to the program.
