Azerbaijan Government, is offering a Scholarship to international students of various nationalities around the world who want to have the opportunity to study a bachelor’s, masters or doctorate in Azerbaijan for the academic year 2021-2022.

About the Azerbaijan government scholarship:

The educational scholarship program for citizens of member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and for citizens of member states of the Non-Aligned Movement has been approved by order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Conditions for applying for Azerbaijan government scholarships

Eligible Countries:

International students from all over the world are eligible to apply. (United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Djibouti, Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Comoros, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Mauritania, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Somalia, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen).

Undergraduate programs:

• The applicant must be younger than 25 years old.

Postgraduate programs:

• The applicant must be under 30 years old.

PhD program:

• The applicant must be under 40 years old.

Documents required in Azerbaijan government scholarship

• Completed application form (must be downloaded from here).
• Certificates or records from previous high school or university.
• A copy of the passport
• Document on general health status (including HIV / AIDS, Hepatitis B, and C screening)
• Motivation letter.                                                   

How to apply for Azerbaijan government scholarship?

• The documents must be formally submitted by the relevant state entities in your country (ministries, embassies, etc.) to any embassy or to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
• The embassies of each country and the partner academic entities will nominate the accepted names for initial admission to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan,
• Students then will undergo interviews via Skype.
