The European Commission (European Union Administration) offers a large number of training opportunities for those interested from all over the world in all the administrative disciplines in which the Commission operates, which covers all aspects of the European Union’s work.

About The Traineeship:

Trainees work all over the European Commission, at services and agencies, mostly in Brussels, but also in Luxembourg and elsewhere across the European Union.

The nature of your work will depend on the service you are assigned to.

You may, for example, work in the field of competition law, human resources, environmental policy, etc.

Details:

  • Type of Scholarship: Internship.
  • Duration 5 months (training takes place twice a year, from March to June and from October to February).
  • Location: all the bodies of the European Union, which are usually located in Brussels or Luxembourg, but also anywhere in the Union.

Specialization:

All specializations of the Union’s work, such as judicial, legal, scientific, cultural, humanitarian, environmental and other bodies.

How to apply for the EU traineeship

Nature of training:

– Help in organizing meetings.

– Assistance in some management matters.

– Preparing work reports.

– Answering citizens’ questions in case of dealing with the public and other various work.

Features:

  1. Work for one of the European Union bodies for a full 5 months.
  2. Obtaining a certificate of business experience in which you participated.
  3. A monthly stipend of about 1,200 euros.
  4. Covering airfare, visa and health insurance costs.
  5. This training opens the door for you to get a job in the European Union in the future.

Admission requirements:

  • You have finished your university studies.
  • Good command of the English language (providing a TOEFL or IELTS certificate is an advantage).
  • You have not worked in the European Union or any of its affiliated institutions for more than 6 weeks.
  • It is preferred that your native language is not English.
  • It is preferred for those who love and looking for knowledge.
  • Those with international educational or volunteer experience are preferred.
  • Strong motivation is preferred (a letter of motivation is required within the application papers).

You should declare only work experience that is related to the profile that you have selected.

You should only declare work experience of more than 42 calendar days.
